Somebody tell J&R that the Zodiac 1 has 32 MB of RAM, not 12!
Great scoop, Scott! I've added a June 24th trip to my local CompUSA to my busy Thursday afternoon schedule.

| I wonder if Tapwave will finally have their recharging bundles available? I would expect the likes of CompUSA to be pretty demanding in regards to peripheral availability. None of this out of stock for 8 months stuff. |

From the description on the J&R website one could assume that they are not going to bundle the sports and deluxe cases with the device. And the games included with it are the same as currently (Acid Solitaire and SCE).

Thanks for the info Scott, good scoop. I'm one of those Zod owners that doesn't feel comfortable buying software locked down to a specific device. It'll be great to purchase games on the MMC cards.
It's also great that the Zod is getting its own display space. It would get lost sitting among all of the multitude of gadgets on display.
While J&R carrying it is welcome news, I would have preferred EB simply because then the Zod would be in both an outlet for computing enthusiasts as well as games.
But who am I to complain? I was concerned that Tapwave would never make it into retail at all.

| Ah, this is indeed good. A solid date and extra details to boot. I really do hope that this retail rollout has a strongly positive effect. |

Great scoop Scott! I will definitely get my local CompUSA onJune 24th. The details about planned shelf space advertising and accessories availability are also reassuring.
Potenial buyers actually getting to test drive a unit and see all of the offered games and available accessories on shelves or pegs=GOOD!
Scott, I hope you're geting ready for more bandwidth and membership . |
