Wi-Fi Drivers, Email App Now Available
Free because they love you!
SanDisk SDIO Wi-Fi card
You read it here first, boys and girls.  The apocalypse must be around the corner, because Tapwave has fired up the 802.11b goodness for your Zodiac.

For your taste of the Wi-Fi life run, don't walk, to the Tapwave Connectivity page and download the drivers for whatever Wi-Fi SDIO card the geek in me knows the geek in you squirreled away.  Don't forget that you can stay on top of the action here at Tapland by visiting the Tapland Mobile site.

If you are still reading this and haven't clicked away to Tapwave's site yet, you'll want to know that Tapwave has also made a free email client available for download.  It's not just some lame old email app, either.  This one supports IMAP4, up to 8 accounts, and scheduled downloading (i.e., pseudo-push email).  Not bad.

So now that the Zodiac is ready for Wi-Fi, do you think that other browser offerings will be forthcoming from some ever-inventive 3rd-party developers?  Join us in the forums and let us know what you think!

So Which Cards Can I Use?
According to Tapwave's informational page and added details supplied in our forums, the drivers are compatible with the newer (v2.0+) SanDisk Wi-Fi cards as well as the overpriced palmOne-branded Wi-Fi card.  The SanDisk combo Wi-Fi / 256MB card is not compatible at this time, but Tapwave indicates that compatibility for this card may be added in the future.

If you're looking for a great deal on a compatible Wi-Fi card, don't fret.  We at Tapland like to take care of our own.  You can get a SanDisk Wi-Fi SDIO card for a mere $67.44 delivered absolutely free (affiliate link)!
