Martin Fields Overlay Plus Screen Protector
When I first ordered my Zodiac 2 I contacted several PDA accessory suppliers about my ability to review Zodiac accessories in the future.  One of the first companies to respond was Martin Fields with an offer to evaluate and review one of their Overlay Plus screen protectors.

First Impressions
By the time the screen protector had arrived I had already been using my Zodiac (with a Brando screen protector) for about a week or so.  It arrived, like all their screen protectors, in a full retail pack packaged in a padded envelope.  I hate the plastic blister packs that you have to cut open (I like to save the package to use later) and luckily this was not one of those.  I removed the screen protector from the small plastic bag that contained it (this seems to be a packaging standard) and prepared to install it.

The very first thing I noticed, before even removing the backing from the adhesive side, was that it seemed to be about the same thickness as the Brando screen protector but had a more glossy appearance to it.  It also seemed to be more clear looking – which I expected after reading the review over at The Gadgeteer – and I couldn’t wait to install it.
